In response to an extra-marital affair with his wife, Twinkie the Kid has challenged the Fruit Pie Magician to an old west-style showdown in the center of town. As the story goes, The Kid and the Fruit Pie Magician were long time friends until just recently when the Kid came home from a PR trip and found a trail of glaze starting at his house that he followed from his bedroom window to the Magician's doorstep down the street. T

he Kid's wife, Lisa, claimed that the Fruit Pie Magician cast a spell on her, forcing her to obey his every command; most of which entailed lurid and adulterous behavior.

This story enraged The Kid (still stinging from a prior indiscretion involving his wife and Captain Cupcake which she said was for “the good of The Kid’s career”) and he vowed to “spill Fruit Pie’s filling into the streets for all to see”. After being confronted with Twinkie the Kid’s evidence, the Magician pointed out that he has no magic powers and that the Kid wasn't really a cowboy, noting, "We're both just blue collar snack cakes trying to make a living on union scale wages."

His plea of innocence allegedly made The Kid even angrier at which point he brandished his lasso and demanded satisfaction from his one time friend. The Fruit Pie Magician, fearing for his delicious life and trying to avoid the duel, immediately brought the case before King Ding Dong’s court hoping that his superior wisdom can make sense of the feud and bring the situation to a peaceful conclusion.

Many believe that if this scandalous powder keg blows, American children may be forced to turn to Little Debbie to gorge their low self-esteems and fuel their sedentary lifestyles which has led to rampant speculation by some as to whether Little Debbie might be involved and that the whole thing may an elaborate scheme in order to gain a greater market share. No matter the origins of the dispute between Twinkie the Kid and the Fruit Pie Magician, no one envies King Ding Dong’s task of setting things right and preventing a potentially devastating turn of events.

 Although the proceedings of his court have been closed to the media, sources close to the DCP say that King Ding Dong's only advice thus far has been not to be “too hasty".
